Get ready for this mega-star cast war film.

Before I start, this album consists of 5 (long – very long) songs and two long instrumental.

Now I m very much looking forward to seeing this movie but am very disappointed in the music and very annoyed by the fact that it has so many songs and even long ones at that.

And music is very much (in a pathetic way) influenced by Border and Refugee.

P.s:Mr. Anu Malik, Don’t expect any awards or even nominations for this one. Sorry to say Mr. Akhtar saab, you could’ve done a much better job in writing some patriotic https://lyrics.

I heard this song first on t.v and this is the reason I bought this album. This is a song which will feature all female cast.(which looks like a very great line up but for what … just some songs and 2 crying scenes). This song kinda reminds you of the song from border “Aei Jaatei Huei Lamho” – not cause of the music (its very much dif) just cause of the lyrics and feelings of not leaving home. Alka tries very hard to sing for almost 8 mins. I personally, have really started not likin her.. for some weird reason….”bohut jyada koshish karti hai lei mei gaanei kei liye”.

WOW! First of all, I m sorry I kinda fast forwarded in between… its very looong song!

Its kinda like girl’s mad and guy’s trying to convince her that he’ll have to leave. Rootha-Manana type song. But seriously why make it so long…I personally think to cover all the star cast..they have to make the song so long. Anyways, Shreya sounds sweet and beautiful…she is the best thing happened to this industry this year! Sonu is good too… This song reminded me of “mere humsafar” (don’t ask me! I m pickin the songs that sound the same in situation vise)

Song is sung very nicely by Rathod. This song is for the soldier’s family and let them know that the soldiers are doing ok. Its again an ok song but the lyrics could’ve been much better. I expect some poetic words from javed saab but he fails me this time around. All the songs have very common words to express themselves.

Yes! u read it right.. its almost 13 min. long song..wow!!

Oh this movie reminds you very much of “sandesei aatei hai” Although, it’s a long song, it is composed very nicely and has great singers to prove it. I m sure this song might be the best song to watch – since I just watched the promo of it and liked it very much. But yes! if the editor doesn’t uses his brain and edit this song – I will be one taking a bathroom break during this song.

This song makes you realize that some soldiers gave up their lives…but there are some brave soldiers who need to appreciated. It’s a nice song again. Sonu Nigam is excellent in this song..just might get a nominee.

Well that’s it…

Overall, I personally think that the songs were very song (which I have a reason y :: to cover all the star cast)

I was very disappointed with this album. It is no where close to Border & Refugee.

And sorry to say, lyrics didn’t make me feel much either…just these lines are excellent

Although, I m sure that I ll probably end up crying in most of these songs but that will be thanx to the picturzing and the director.

I recommend u all first go watch the movie and then buy this album …if u like the songs in the movie..then buy it! Cause if u buy it now…you might say “Damn! SO long songs for no reason”
