One word that describes the companys AC is worst in the lot.
First I would like to share my personal experiences with this company's air condition and then share the drawbacks why we should not buy it.
I had bought a 1.5 ton 4 star AC with Lloyd which had a 3 years guarantee for the compressor like any other company. I ordered it online and I recieved the product in 8 days.
The fitting and installation of the AC was to be given free by the vendor as mentioned during the purchase. It took me 8 mails, 5+ calls to the service center to remind them of the installation that needed to be done of the AC I purchased.
After repeated reminders, the product was finally installed and in less than 2 days the compressor stopped producing cold air. I complained in the service center and the service person mentioned that my AC had a faulty conpressor which needed to be changed.
I asked the vendor for a replacement as it was just installed 2 days back but they did not agree. Finally because I spent the money I had to agree with the replacement of compressor instead of replacement of full AC. The AC came back after 16 days of this complain and was re-installed at my place.
In less than 7 days, we realized that the AC's fan speed was not functioning and it remained steady at lowest speed because of which the cooling was not happening the way it should have. We complained again and the service person again mentioned that the whole AC was defective and hence the problems are arising.
We took a written letter from the service person about what he mentioned and sent a mail to the company, but company did not consider the case and we got stuck with the product.
Finally we took help of the 3rd party who helped us fixing the problems with the fan speed and some other minor problems ( auto timer activates) . He charged us for the service which was supposed to be given free by the company, still we suffer due to the low performance of the AC.
Overall I would have to rate 1 star to the AC because 0 star rating is not allowed. Not to forget, the AC's could be defective completely or considering the worst after service from the company makes it non buyable.
Also they mention it is 4 star, but the consumption of electricity compared to another AC of the same star category was much higher, proving their wrong mentions of the product and wrong market strategies to sell it.
In a nutshell, I would not recommend anybody to buy it for any reason possible, unless someone turns out lucky and gets a fresh/good piece from Lloyd once in a while.
