Just go to the Health & Beauty >> Bath, Body & Skin >> Soaps section on Mouthshut and you will be bewildered by the variety of choice out there in the market.
The days when people were loyal to one brand - Lifebouy or Lux - are all gone. Today people try all the variety that is available attracted by the packing and the colors waiting on the shelf to be picked up. In the plethora of brands available one particular brand stands out distinct. Yes I am talking about the Liril Icy Cool Mint soap.
Lime was a big theme for soaps. But soon soaps that washed your clothes and your vessels and your floor also began to have lime in them. Well my skin could not share honours with them and so I ditched Lime N Lemony.
Then the next wave was soaps for the oily skin and not so oily skin. I thought that soaps by nature was there to remove excess oil from the skin, of course alongwith dirt and grime (isn't grime dirty oil).
All kinds of soap filled the market shelf. Advertisers used all the trick in the trade to make their brand pop out. Soaps began not only to attack dirt and grime from your body but also germs (Dettol). Well you could play better football because you remained Thanduroost (fit) after a bath (Lifebouy). And ofcourse little children had a magnifying glass to see parts of their body in the bath tub (Pears). You had everything from mint to menthol to lime to cologne that occupied that little cake of soap.
And now the icing on the cake (soap cake) was Liril Icy Cool Mint. The moment you applied it over your body you got a tingling cool feeling. And as you poured water over your body the cooling sensation just got better. It is a soap that is different. The feeling transports you immediately to that scene in the advertisment and you feel one with it.
I always enjoyed the cool feeling of shaving cream with menthol. But then I couldn't apply the cream all over my body. Liril Icy Mint came along and filled that gap. Try this cool one and you will just love it.
