After ages I was looking at the MS website when I came across some atrocious reviews on Max Factor's Lipfinity. And so I thought it would be appropriate to clear some misconceptions.

I am not a big fan of make up but I do believe in its power. Whether you prefer the natural look or the caked look - make up can enhance your natural beauty if applied correctly. And lipstick is probably the most important aspect of that routine. I work long hours and in a very male dominated environment. My job is people oriented and I have to look presentable at all times. I don't have the time to reapply make-up but having some lipstick on is the least I can do!!

Just by accident while at the cosmetics counter of Boots I saw Max Factor Lipfinity. It was being heavily advertised at the time and I am not afraid to confess that I don't own a thing that hasn't danced and sung on the TV!! So when I saw it there, naturally I had to buy it!!

And yes, before I forget, I can be a bit lazy sometimes when it comes to trying things on before I buy them. My cupboard is full of things I have bought over the years that did appeal to me at the time - but I have never actually used them (mostly clothes and bags)!! So there I was, in front of the mirror, testing out Max Factor's Lipfinity for the first time on my way to a long day at work. But I am pleased to say that I was not disappointed! Quite the contrary.

It was a bit weird to me at first as I have always used lipsticks with plenty of moisturiser, and this seemed dry. However I followed the instructions and applied the coat of paint followed by the gloss. Once I had got used to the 'painted' feeling it was a piece of cake!!

That was nearly 2 years ago and now I am a firm fan of Lipfinity. In fact there was a deal on at Superdrug where prices were reduced from £9.99 to £7.99 and I bought something like 3 shades. All fantastic!!

The big advantage of Lipfinity above other brands is:

  1. It does what it says - stays on all day!!

  2. It is non transferable.

  3. The gloss can be reapplied to give that wonderful 'freshly applied lipstick' feeling.

The only word of warning is that at night it is best to remove it with an oil based moisturiser. I just use baby oil!! And it works every time! All in all I love Lipfinity - and would recommend it to anyone
