Until now i have had a pleasant experience at lifestyle, but today was pathetic.
I bought an entire barbie set for my daughter, for rs 3, 499/-. The staff at the second billing counter directed me on saying this was closed, i told them they should have a sign to that effect, saying that the counter is closed
On asking about the gift wrapping they said it would be done outside. At the counter outsidei was given a choice of two papers, both with the lifestyle logo on them. When the staff started packing they were making a mess of it, i asked them to be a bit careful as it was meant to be a gift. The staff there told me to wrap my gift myself! Being for my daughter i wrapped it, as i didn't want her toee it till we got home, then i went inside to the customer feedback desk, told them that i was made to wrap my own gift, and would like to make a complaint, they made a show of calling some 'mahesh'.
I waited there for five to ten minutes and then asked them, they made another call and said he was at the gift wrapping counter. I went there and he was not there. On returning to the complaint desk they now said that 'mahesh' was out to lunch ( it was 04:15pm, maybe lunch time for some, but if it was they could have told me the first time). Finally as they expected i had to leave as i had elsewhere to go, rather than run from pillar to post in - lifestyle bangalore - with no redress to my grievance. I wish they just charged for the gift wrapping and gave us some good service.
In the inner circle group, the max stores are much better, and if in bangalore, garuda mall is as close, with better variety and i have always had great service there.
