I am a Canadian citizen and what LG did with me, this is going to be my last product from LG in India and Canada as well, obviously, I was a big fan of LG but what a mess.
This entire story is a mess and hope after reading this, you guys will never buy anything from LG, why waste our money on a company who doesn't care for there customer.
Here is the complete summary of what we faced.
I bought LG split AC on 30 May 2021. After using it for 2 months I found there was sparking in the gas pipe I raised a complaint [RNP210711044807]. An inexperienced engineer came for the visitors who didn’t have any I’d. And after he did all the faults from his call to his senior or whoever had sent him from the LG office I realized that he is not an LG certified engineer(he came from a local shop).
And after his visit, the problem became worse.
Now instead of the water going out from the outlet pipe, it started draining in the room. And the AC which used to cool the room in 20 min now it stopped doing so. And again, the same day I raised a different complaint [RNP210712013661] and the next day a person from Gorakhpur service center named Arvind Yadav called me and said if there was an issue you should have called me instead of raising a different complaint in a bad manner with my wife. Well without minding it she waited for the engineer to visit. But there was no response for few days again I regularly followed up with them. Then they said the engineer had already visited your place, but no one actually did. My wife told them about it then the next day one engineer called us, and my wife talked to him since she was out for some work she asked him to come the next day. He said OK mam call me tomorrow. The next day again she called him he said I am busy call me later. And for the next few days, the same story continued.
Now it’s been more than a week since we are staying without AC, and because I had no option left again I tried to reach LG customer service from there somehow I got a number of a person name(Nancy) who gave me contact detail for another person MR. Rupesh, I had a call with Rupesh(rupesh07.xxxxx@lgepartner.com) And he tried to help us with what he can.
He had called someone, and I got a call from the Gorakhpur office he said you will be provided with service within 2 hours. I called him he said since it’s raining it’s not possible right now once it’s stopped the person will go, I waited but no one came.
And after waiting for long I again called him, and he stopped replying to me.
Now I waited on Saturday than Sunday and then on Sunday I tried contacting them but there was no response.
On Monday(yesterday) an engineer came for the visit and this time the thing we did was we asked him his I’d card and he said we aren’t certified LG engineers but since Arvind Yadav and Yogesh from Gorakhpur LG service center call us and send us to the customer we go and do the work.
Since Gorakhpur LG Service center was not picking our call we asked the guy who came for repairing to call him from his phone.
And this mannerless guy( Arvind & Yogesh)started shouting and abusing and tried to scare. And his sentences were the following:-
Tu aa tujhe btata hun. Kya chahta h tu kaam karwana h ya nhi. Agar karwana h toh jo gya hai usse karwa warna...
And then he used such foul language which I can’t even mention.
And he also said that go wherever you want to go no one can do anything.
Then I again called Rupesh sir and let him know what all had happened. And he cooperated with me and immediately connected me with his manager Kripa Shankar Tripathi(kripa.xxxxxxxx@lge.com).
And he assured me that he will be taking strict action against LG Gorakhpur Service Centre. And then in the evening I got the call again from Arvind and he said - jo gya h kaam karwana h toh usse karwa lo.
Now today morning again I got a call from a person from LG Service center saying that we have a complaint from you regarding your AC which is assigned to me can you please tell me where I have to come. And this happened after 15 days of raising the complaint. And the funniest thing is when I said I do not need any help now. He was asking for the happiness code so that he can close the complaint on his end.
This is the whole story now I need strict action against this service center as soon as possible.
Rather I should think that LG is so careless about selling its product. And I had just dumped my money in a bin.
At last but not least, we spend 15 days without AC.
