We purchased this LG Microwave Oven on 8th June 2019 “LG MJ3965BQS 39L Convection Microwave Oven(Black)” from TataCliq with Order no 105060242 for Rs 27501/-. Since the day of purchase I am facing problem with this Microwave oven.
The heating was irregular and suddenly the microwave oven will stop and pause. We will have to restart the appliance. Several times I have informed the LG customer care center about the malfunction of the microwave. Service engineers during the first year of warranty also could not come and help sort out the problem.
In the month of November 2020 the microwave completely stopped working. It was no longer heating any food. We called the service center several times and then a service engineer came who reported that the Magnetron is defective and replaced it. I had to pay the service charges Rs 531/- on 8th Dec 2021 when he finally did the repair. Invoice no TCR No: U51258/01338.
Since my previous repair which was the changing of the magnetron on 8th Dec 2020, I have been repeatedly complaining that my Microwave oven is getting stuck in between the heating cycle. The food is then getting overheated and liquids are boiling over and spilling over. Sometimes the microwave is becoming inoperable and the power has to be disconnected and restarted. I have several times complained. Service representative was supposed to come in Jan 2021, Feb 2021 but nobody turned up and the appointments were being rescheduled and cancelled.
LG technicians are not doing the repairs properly and the microwave oven is unusable and unstable. I am forced to reach out to a consumer form and get legal help since LG is selling defective products and customer like myself is suffering since day 1 of purchasing such product.
LG has provided me a defective piece right from the beginning and LG Customer care and technicians have not helped in sorting out the problem.
Please beware LG India is sending defective products to customer buying online and putting the responsibility on customer by delaying service and not replacing the product. Please be very very careful. I have already Lost Rs 27501/- with LG sending me defective product.
