Confused..? Hell Yeah!! Totally worth it! We had a option between LG and Samsung, and we opted for LG after majority of my family members routed for LG over Samsung.
Kinda mixed bag feeling about this buy. The refrigerator is quite new and it's been over 2 months and so far so good. If the fridge is good till now then why the heck am I confused? A'int nobody got time to contact the customer support! seriously.
The day that we were informed about the delivery, it came a day later. It kinda got on our nerves as after leaving everything aside and waiting for something that does not come is frustrating. After delivering the fridge wrapped up, we were said that the fridge would be unwrapped by the engineer and the set up would be installed by him itself.
On the arrival of the engineer post 2 days of his promise, he said to us that the fridge had to be unwrapped by the delivery boys. Heck ya! Bloody get some life. It took us one heck of a problem to unpack the fridge..
The engineer installed the setup and the fridge was up and running and finally we could start using it. On closing the door of the fridge there was some strange noise, on inquiring it on the spot the engineer said that it was the noise of the fridge rubber or some stuff, and would get fine once time passes by. It's almost 2 months and we have learnt to live with that strange noise or I should say we chose to ignore it.
Now coming to the core points:
Ease of Use: The fridge is quite simple to use, and there is one special opening at the bottom where one can keep vegetables that don't need refrigeration.

The best thing about this fridge is that it has everything arranged in a systematic manner.
Durability: We have been using the fridge from past 2 months and it would be difficult to exactly comment on the durability. Still it seems to be quite macho and tough. The wine maroon color also helps giving it a strong texture and good solid built.
Ease of Cleaning: The fridge is arranged quite systematically and helps in cleaning it more efficiently. The best thing is that the fridge does not give out shocks while cleaning which most fridge gives if not earthed properly.
Style & Design: Quite high on style and design, with wine maroon color and descent art work on the extreme right adds up to the looks. Really amazing, and this model was kept out on display as it's very eye catchy.
Service & Support: Service and support needs to be up to the mark if one pays something around 18k. But sorry to say that LG service and support was so bad that I'm still confused that was our decision right on buying a LG fridge.
The fridge was unpacked by us and on asking the engineer about the strange noise, he just ignored and said that it would vanish as time goes. But still the sound exist.
We had insisted on replacing the fridge but no response yet and after facing such issues in spite paying 18k it makes us feel bad.
The only thing that has disappointed us is the service and support but one need the service and support to be top notch. A'int it?
While closing the fridge it gets a bit difficult as the new rubber does not provide enough friction and produces a strange noise. Although this noise hasn't vanished from past 2 months, it's reducing surely.
Few things that impressed me:
The compartments made were so systematic and well mannered that the fridge seems quite neat and clean inspite so many things dumped in it.
At a cost of 17, 800 for a 225 liters it's a proper deal and worth every penny, but wish the service and support buck up.
The design on the upper right panel is amazing. Simply superb.
One thing that has to be commendable is the 10 years compressor warranty, as compressor is very important and the last fridge that we used had a problem with the compressor which forced us to buy a new fridge.
After 1 minute or so, an alarm rings which is quite funny. Wish it could play some good song.
The Fridge has a fresh zone too which is below the freezer which maintains a zone between extreme freezer cooling and normal cooling. All the eatables are fresh for 12 hours and no stink too encountered till 12 hours at least.
Still wonder on the follow up:
Wish they follow up very soon so that I can get the noise issue fixed.
Final words:
I would like to conclude saying that the fridge is quite descent and has been designed quite intelligently, but wish the service and support improves big time.
