With the present day pricing of phones, this is a good bet. You can't ask for more at 10K. Reliable brand, after sale support, hardware package.
I was using a S3 before this phone, so naturally have a temptation to compare any phone with S3, which was a benchmark for a long time for any reviewer.
K3 is big, very big and juts out too much from your pocket. So, if you are too humble and hate to flaunt your latest buy, it may be bit embarrassing. I feel so.
Though the phone is all plastic, it feel premium and sturdy. Mine is white, actually it is golden tinged.
Screen is hyper-dense, more than 400ppi, may be more than that of retina screen. But image vibrancy is not in par with the 3 year old AMOLED of S3. Our eyes have some limiting capacity, just stuffing in pixels wont help!
This phone doesn't have a branded glass protection. Someone told me it does have Dragon trail glass, but I doubt. Anyway you get a free screen protector, which is plasticky and takes away the pleasure of free gliding on screen. I changed to tempered glass, now it is far better but again the feel is not in par with that of S3.(BTW, I run Cyanogen mode on my S3, not the stock OS)
Battery takes ages to charge fully! Around 3 hrs, which is undoubtedly too long. Can they correct it with some software fixes? Let's hope so. About battery life, last a full day with moderate net use and day and half with minimal use. Big screen, more hunger for power!
Audio quality is great. But no earphones provided. Invest on a good pair if you are a music enthusiast. It's worth it.
Os packs many features which are unfamiliar with the users of previous versions. Double tap screen on, lift to receive etc.etc. I am still exploring them.
Everything else is ok with the phone. Buy it!
Lack of Gorilla glass need not deter you from buying this phone, a Rs 200 tempered glass will do the job.
