I have visited Lavasa during my visit to pune. It was summers of last year. We booked a cab to reach there. I thought it will be an experience of a lifetime. But the things were different from my perception. No doubt the city structure is beautiful. If I would own a house there I will the happiest person. But that is a farland dream. Any single home there costs about 5-8Cr.
But if a tourist visits a place the whole and sole thing required is Food. Food is so much costly there. Lavasa has number of outlets there but all have the monopoly to fixed the rates at very high price. Even for water a basic necessity they charge extra.
And yes you can visit there only one time . I will never visit there again.
