Kyon Ho GAY na? would have been a good title. At least something in the movie would then have been interesting. (Yeah, at least the title)

Kyon Ho Gaya Na - does not have anything - no story - no plot - just lot of money being wasted.

A zillion times told story - boy meets girl, a carefree, rich city boy meets sensitive small town girl (rich though) who have different ideologies about love.

'Pyar or haar Arjun ki dictionary mein nahi hai' sums up Arjun's (Vivek Oberoi) character. Opposites attract but Arjun refuses to believe he is in love. The badshah of Bollywood (Amitabh Bachhan) then steps in (with his entry I still had hopes that the movie would have something interesting) just to make a silly point to Arjun that 'there is something called love'

Amitabh is wasted and the only saving grace in the Movie is Om Puri's phenomenal performance. Aishwarya Rai (Diya) is consistent and proves she cannot act and it is hard to believe that Vivek chose to do such a role where each and every dialogue left you reminiscing 'which movie did I last hear this?'.

Pyar mein sau uljane hai - the first song in the movie is about the only catchy song and cinematography is fairly good but in parts only.

All in all - old story new cover.
