The Story:
Debutant director, Aasmaan Bhardwaj has a very raw and wild take on the storyline of Kuttey. This film has a powerhouse of star cast which includes big names like Tabu, Arjun Kapoor, Radhika Madan, Kumud Mishra, Konkana Sen, and others. Kuttey revolves around bloodthirsty people who are on a killing spree to survive.
The storyline of this film is really interesting and promises to keep all movie lovers on the edge of their seats. The film is entertaining in nature and has some great comic timing which will leave you in laughter splits.
The Review:
Aasmaan Bhardwaj is a new face in the directorial world. Ever since the film and the star cast were announced, Kuttey has been in the news creating a lot of buzzes. The debutant director along with big names like Tabu, Arjun Kapoor, and Radhika Madan, has delivered a good storyline that is sure to be appreciated by moviegoers.
While the film is gore and has some really intense moments, at the same time it also creates the space to make the audience laugh with some dark humor. Aasmaan has attempted to keep the film engaging for the audience and I must say, the new guy in B-town has definitely managed to do so. The characters in the film who are portrayed as bloodthirsty humans are seen hunting down some corrupt politicians as they are on a contract.
On the other hand, Tabu plays the role of a police officer who is very confused as to who are these humans and why are they on a killing spree. It is very safe to say that each character has managed to deliver a brilliant performance and fans are definitely going to love their on-screen presence. Kuttey surely will keep you on the edge of your seat. I totally liked this thrilling and entertaining film.
What Works for the Film:
The characters have delivered some brilliant performances and the gore yet the quirky storyline definitely works for the film and does justice to each character.
All-in-all:
Kuttey is an interesting take on a gore topic that has some humans who are mercilessly on a killing spree. While it is a one-time watch, Aasmaan Bhardwaj does not fail to shine as a debutant director who in a very smart way has handpicked characters that elevate the script and does justice to the story.
