Kovalam was the last destination in our journey of Kerala, and were also going back to home place, all with a mix mood; on one side we had a very cozy moments & still want to continue and on the other side wanted to reach home place.
Kovalam is a mid center among Trivandrum & Poovar. And not to forget famous for the Beach. In Kovalam, Light House Beach is having two unusual things from the other Beaches, one is having a High Rocks which one can enjoy on the sit outs very much, which is also a different experience in itself; and secondly the Light House which is also a historic value.
Our Hotel was just located on the Light House Beach, so we had all the day sea view & also enjoyed it too. The Beach is very Long and not that much quiet but still we enjoyed the bathe. The Beach in the night is full of Foreign Public & Fish Food sceneing just like Goa. I don’t think there is much of other Sightseeing in Kovalam.
The next day we had taken Poovar in our Program and was total Fun as mainly there are two attractions, one is the Boat Ride (app. 2 hrs. time & some what costly) which takes you to Poovar Island & it’s a marvelous beach, there are mainly 3 attractions which are just Unique, 1 is its having Golden Sand which is also unique, 2 is it’s a Triveni Sangam of Backwaters, River & Sea; 3 is Sea is of Scenic Blue Water, just filmi style & one can have a pleasant unforgettable memories of its view. We were not ready to move out of that place for some time. On the other side there are floating restaurants also & Club Mahindra Resort is also located there, along with the other two famous Hotels. All in all it was our final destination & very contentful too.
And also took me to a new phase in my life, where Kerala Tour put me to a higher grade by making me very much satisfactory in Life.
On the return to Kovalam, we also visited Marine Aqaurium which is having a variety of Fishes; We also had a Good Lunch @ Punjabi Dhaba (above Divine Super Market) which is also very delicious food serving restaurant. And also shopped for Kerala Rice from the Super Market located below.
And then Bag Packs from God’s Own Country for leaving next day to Home Town.
