This is one of the places I would love to go anyday !!
An old place but it has lot of charm.
Accessible to anyone
Like KC Das this place is accessible to everyone and for Bangalore old timers its a very familiar place known for good food and good price.
Located in St Marks Road, opposite to the Life Insurance building and KC Das.
The other Landmark would be.. its near 180 Proof Pub.
Koshy also boasts of a supermarket, though a miniature version .. if you want to compare it with Food World.
Have you been here before in some other time ??
Again this place has an old world atmosphere. You do have the AC and the Non AC section but I think the non AC is always fun !! You can go to the AC section if you are with corporate clients.
This place is ideal for meeting for a date, chilling out with friends or just being by yourself.
The Non AC section is like a small hall with tables placed strategically. The ambience on the whole is cozy.
Stomach full
Well anything you order is first class. You will get good Biryanis and real yum fish fry.
I would recommend you the biryanis anyday.
Booze is available here so you can chill out here with a pitcher of beer and some good fish fry .. :)
You could also try the chicken curries available. Its quite yummy... but nothing unique :)
The menu has got good variety. I have not experimented much but I am sure my friends who have visited this place will agree with me that most of the food is well cooked and very tasty !!The content of food is also quite good.
However ifyou go there after 10:30, the menu is again restricted to biryanis and some other dishes but still you will go full...
Serve and we will pay !!!
The service is fine. If it is very crowded, the waiter will take sometime to come to your table but otherwise its fine.
You can take that time to chat up your friend !! :)
The price was quite fine sometime back. I guess they have revised the menu and my friends tell me that the prices have increased.
Ordering drinks obviously makes it more expensive. However I think its worth it !!
My thoughts
This is another place which remains open till late . I have had dinner there at 11:45 pm.
I recommend this place to couples and groups !!!
