Well currently this show is not running but recently I watched some repeat telecast on ‘STAR’ TV,so though to write about this show.
One Coffee can do a lot. ‘Coffee with Karan’ a nice Talk Show. These Days we have too many talk shows but still my favorites is ‘Coffee with Karan’.
The Things Which I like about the Show:
Concept: Well it is talk show then must be one host and one or more guest will be there. So similar kind of concept is also applicable to this show.The Entire show is divided into many sections like Normal Talk, Q&A, Rapid Fire, Public or Celebrity Views.
Presentation:I like the Presentation of this show. Simple and Interesting. Both Starting music and Background music is good. The entire flow of the show is perfectly designed and the various segments make this show very interesting.
The Show begins with introduction of the Guest and after that next move is normal chat. This can be related with career talk or some personal talk. It may be any incident or funny moment related with the guest .Then ‘Rapid FiRE’ segment where Host ask some questions and guest needs to answer them .Rapid Fire questions can be related with work or can be personal but the approach of presenting the question is hilarious.Not a single point neither Guest nor audience will feel awkward.After the ‘Rapid FiRE’ segment ,Host will decide who is winner of the Gift Hamper. Then the last segment and that is Public or Celebrity views which is a surprise event for the Guest. The concept of this event is host will take opinion about the Guest from the public or from the celebrity. Opinion may be related with work or appearance or what other’s thought about the Guest.Finally at the end of the show Guest needs to sign on ‘Coffee Mug’ and place it on shelf.
This show has all the ingredients which is required to make any show interetsing.Emotion,Drama,Fun and some surprises.
Host: I feel ‘Karan Johar’ has done fabulous job. Whether it is hosting a Award function or chat show, he has his own style which has different kind of flavor.
The Things Which I don’t like about the show:
Guest Selection: I didn’t understand the selection procedure. I mean to say on what basis they choose the guest whether it is depend on their availability or some kind of lottery system. Sometime same show is very interesting and some time it is very dull. The show completely depends on the Guest.
Fun loving show, full of entertainment with some funny and interesting talk and gossip.
