A recent report published in the new scientist magazine says that italian scientist, of the universityof rome, have created an electronic nose that can detect lung cancer in patients .the E-nose device, developed by electronics, identifies compound in the patient's breathto detect the disease.researchers hope that the E-nose can now serve as the basis of simple test to make diagnosis of ling cancer.a hypersensitive version of it could also be developed for use in routine checks-up that screen smokers and high-risk groups .lung cancer claims more than a million people around the world, every year.rising air pollution has increasedthe risks of developing the disease
