I was very happy when came to know that I bagged the admission in engineering through cap round in one of the most finest engineering college in mumbai KJ Somaiya.I still remember the 1st day when I visited somaiya college for admission purpose .The college is know for its greenery which they have maintained.So aw-sum environment the college is surrounded by.
The classrooms were very good each having a green board.The ventilation was effectively taken care of.Two very essential things in any college is Library and laboratories and somaiya was very concern about that.The Libraries was designed in such a way that it was not at all confusing and specially boring . Even the laboratories ambiance was so well.
Coming to most favorite place where I used to hangout like every student was canteen.The Anna was the canteen head.The food was very hygienic and yummy too!Music system was also present always running with a very soft English song. Somaiya also had a Maggie house within it yet another best place to hangout in college.Literally by smelling the maggie you will never left it out.
Kj Somaiya college is facilitated by Mumbai university and has a very experienced and amicable staff.The staff support us a lot in each and every work .The one moment that no can forget is college festivals.College used to have two fest per year one technical and the other was cultural.Actors like salmaan khan, akshay kumaar, vivek oberoi have visited our college during fest.Entertainment plays a important role in each life and somaiya believes its too! Events like clean jhuhu and marathon for disabled childrens are carried out once in a year.
The most important aspect of any engineering college that student concerns a lot is the placement. Thanks to our placement officer joshi sir he was the one who was responsible to take care of the companies and he was terrified in that job.he brought us around 40 companies in college.Accenture, Infosys, Techmahindra and many more were leading the charts.College provides us with good placement programs which are very useful during placement season so that maximum students should be placed .
I never gonna miss this place!
