I had watched the U.K. version of the POPSTARS in london cause I was studing there. I saw all the episodes and I must say it was million times better than the indian version.People were more talented and good looking than indians participating here.
In the indian version every girl till date they have chosen for the final 20, aren't anything great. Sorry to say they are ugly,look sick and tired, and are totally out of tune. I don't agree with Sushma Reddy and Manish Malhotra being in the judges panel, I don't think they know anything about music. They just sit there doing nothing and staring into the sky. Frankly I feel manish malhotra is kept there just to embarass girls. He is just sitting there and telling every scrony girl to loose more weight. I mean, HELLO do u want that poor soul to vanish! And if the girls are thin enough, then they have to wear clothes which as good as nothing. I don't think its necessary to wear skimpy clothes to be a popstar, well what about people like Shubha Mudgal and vasundra das.They don't wear skimpy clothes,and one of them is fat as well but at the end of the day its the talent that counts not the clothes or the obesity. And Sushma Reddy acts as if she knows everything there is to know about music. PAAAHHLEEEZZZ! And one thing I didn't understand was to why did they call Shobha De? She was not needed. What the hell has she got to do with the girls wanting to be popstars. And if its about how confident they are, then I am sure they already must be, cause they have participated in it.She was just sitting there looking and dressing up like a teenager, with those orange glares.''Women, look your age, that is more classy.''Frankly I don't think there is a big craze for popstars in india nor there ever will be. So these girls are just wasting their time. They rather do sumthing else. ITS JUST NONSENSE! and a FLOP!!!
