One of Bollywood's biggest entertainers and superstars, Salman Khan is back on the big screen with a banger! Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan revolves around the life of Salman Khan who lives as a bachelor. Bhaijaan is very protective of his younger siblings and is very committed to looking after them. Now if all you movie buffs know, where there is Salman Khan, how can there not be a dazzling actress opposite him? Very unlikely, right? This is where the movie gets even more interesting as there is a woman who enters the plot. Salman who is a bachelor is now mesmerized by Pooja Hegde who is a young and beautiful girl. The storyline has an interesting build-up and the comic timing in the film is great.
The Review:
Bollywood sensation, Salman Khan has always managed to entertain film buffs and a million fans that he has gained over the years of his acting career in the film industry. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is Salman's first film of this year. Though he had a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, fans had been eagerly waiting for this film which was finally released on the eve of Eid 2023. The film has a very strong storyline which makes it a good watch for the fans. Salman who is known for his Dabaang performances in his films manages to entertain the mass is seen doing the same in this film as well.
When Salman comes across Pooja Hegde, (Bhagya Laxmi) who shares the same name as Bhaijaan's ex-girlfriend. Filmmaker, Farhad Samji's film is a blend of action-packed drama, comedy, and romance. The couple eventually starts liking each other and that's where the romance begins. Little does Bhaijaan know that Bhagya Laxmi has a very dark past which could be a downside in their relationship. Moving a little ahead from the storyline, the film has some nice songs and the background score is very groovy and is a vibe. This film also got Salman Khan and Bhoomika Chawla back on the big screen after almost 20 years. They last worked together in Tere Naam which was released in 2003. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan also marks the entry of Raghav Juyal and Shehnaaz Gill into the film industry.
The film has a very slow start to it but once Salman's lady love makes an entry, the film picks up and gets interesting. The film also has some of South Indian cinema's big names like Venkatesh Daggubati and Jagapathi Babu who are seen in a prominent roles. The cinematography and the direction work as an advantage in making this film a commercial success in most aspects. The filmmaker has very wisely chosen the star cast which fits in perfectly with the script. Each character portrays a unique role and on-screen performance is brilliant. But as always it is Salman who steals the show from the rest as his strong character portrayal works perfectly in the favor of the storyline. While he is seen flexing those muscles and landing some action-packed punches, he also has a great sense of humor and his comic timing is great!
What I really loved about this film is the action and the cinematography in which the action sequences have been captured. His character is raw and his look in the long hair is definitely going to leave his fans star-struck and mesmerized. Salman and his films have always been the most entertaining with great action sequences and romance. He has always worked with some of the best artists in the industry which makes his films even more interesting and entertaining.
What Works for the Film:
The risk of presenting such popular faces in the industry, all at once on the big screen. The direction, especially Bhaijaan's character in the film is really the selling point that works best for the film. The dance numbers and the cinematography are a huge plus and surely make this film shine on the silver screen.
All-in-All:
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is a lovely film which will keep you entertained, throughout. I loved each character in the film and of course, Salman Khan like always has managed to win the hearts of millions and with this film, he brings something new to the table for his fans who were eagerly waiting for this one. Go watch it with your family and friends as it will definitely leave you entertained and dancing to some groovy songs.
