IN MY OPINION:

Kolar Gold Fields aka KGF stands out to be one of the finest period drama movie set up in the 70s era. And, actor Yash is absolutely stunning and dashing in his looks and appearance. The movie is an edge of the seat thriller and entertaining as the trailers promised. KGF has a well-constructed plot which is the backbone of this movie.

Director cum writer, Prashanth Neel brings out possibilities of a historical concept and also adds a lot of conviction to the plot. Each character in the film has been well portrayed. An interesting history, politics, action, drama, humor, item songs and a pinch of romance makes KGF a complete entertaining package.

STAR-CAST:

Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Achyuth Kumar, Malavika Avinash, Anant Nag, Vasishta N. Simha, Mita Vashisht, and Ramachandra Raju.

Special Appearance: Tamannaah Bhatia and Mouni Roy

PLOT OF THE MOVIE:

KGF begins that talks about the Kolar Gold Fields and Rocky(Yash) the protagonist and how they were meant to be a part of each other's destiny. In the first half, they showcase the journey of an underdog slum dweller to becoming an underworld don of Mumbai. Having faced poverty at its worst and dealing the tragic death of his mother, Rocky wants to conquer the world. His willpower to attain fame and power makes him fearless. At a certain stage, Rocky feels that the power and fame he owns is not enough. So, he is then assigned a mission in Bengaluru to kill the man who controls the Kolar Gold Fields(KGF), Ramachandra Raju as Garuda. This is everyone's mission and so Rocky takes it up to prove his power and strength in the dangerous mining fields of Kolar. And, finally the outcome turns out to be Rocky becoming a symbol of hope to legions of downtrodden people working as slaves in KGF.

PERFORMANCE:

Yash stands out to be the show stealer for his outstanding performance. His dialogue deliveries and action sequences are definitely going to give you goosebumps. Rest of the cast have done justice to their roles and have given a decent performance.

MUSIC:

Only the background score by Ravi Basrur is worth praising as it goes in flow with the script. Songs weren't needed.

CINEMATOGRAPHY:

Bhuvan Gowda has done a great work for setting up the Kolar's mining field giving it a realistic look of 70s and for taking the best shots of Mumbai locations.

MY SUGGESTION TO YOU:

A flawless film with delightful graphics, KGF is an outstanding piece of cinema. With a plot so strong and perfect casting, KGF is a work of brilliance and is going to make Indian cinema proud.

I highly recommend you to watch this film. It is a MUST WATCH.

P.S.: Watch it in theatres for having the best cinematic experience of KGF.
