These days, the existence of clean air is more difficult to find, as every part of our planet is getting increasingly polluted day after day. Being someone with nasal allergies, buying an air purifier was more of a necessity than a luxury for me. After checking with a few people I know who are already using an air purifier, I decided to get one for home use. I bought Kent Ozone Air Purifier from Amazon as there was some discount offered for this product. Delivery turned out to be late by 2 days as my order was routed to an incorrect courier facility.
Here in this review I'm going to list some of the best and worst aspects of using this product:
Pros:
It's very small and compact in size making it easy to carry from one room to another.
It's based on environment friendly Ozone disinfection technology that effectively kills bacteria, viruses and other harmful germs and purifies the air that we breathe.
Noiseless and timer set operation.
Ideal only for small room size of 100 -150 sq ft.
Removes foul odour/ cigarette fumes from the room to a certain extend.
Can be wall mounted or used as tabletop.
Cons:
The air filter is quite small and so I'm not really sure how much effective it is.
If ozone is set to high mode, it produces a stinky smell.
It is more of a disinfectant than an air purifier. Not effective for people like me who have dust/dust mites allergies.
Over-exposure to ozone may cause serious health concerns. So cannot use for more than 30 minutes at a time.
There is no way you can confirm if the product is effective or not and also to what extend.
The product stopped working completing after using it for less than two months. So not really worth the money for the work it does.
I'm overall disappointed with the performance of this product as it never really helped reduce my allergy cough/cold to any noticeable extend. I'd not recommend this product to anyone who is looking to buy an air purifier with the hope to get rid of allergy problems.
