The title was meant to draw your attention. However, there is a bit of truth hidden in it. John Harvey Kellogg, a physician by profession developed a few flaked grain based cereals including corn flakes to control the natural urges. He argued that flavour infused or seasoned foods increased desire among the people and that plain food like cereals and nuts could curb it. He took the help of his brother, Will to market it as a healthy ready-to-eat anti-desire breakfast meal. His brother being a little business-minded tried to add sugar to the product making it more tasty to the public. The brothers argued but eventually Will started up the Kelloggs company and the rest is history.
With this short introduction, let me begin. I love to have cereal in the mornings. It removes the thinking out of the equation and you can just enjoy breakfast. My first choice is Kellogg's Original Corn Flakes. It tastes like corn and has the lowest amount of added sugars when compared to the rest of the cereal-based products. I like to have my corn flakes drenched in a spoonful of honey, a couple of sliced bananas and a splash of cold milk. It wakes me up and gets me ready for the day.
I usually get the 475gm box pack which cost around Rs. 140. I recommend it to those who can't be bothered to cook their morning breakfast. Kindly rate my review and share your views. Cheers!
