NEW UPCOMING FILM ACTRESS MAYURI PASSED AWAY.. IT SEEMS SHE HANGGED HERSELF. she is also known to tamilian as shalini s kumar.
she had acted in 7g rainbow colony, kana kanden, whistle, also done compiring in vijay tv. during the time of cricket. and also acted in some malaylam movies..
may her soul rest in peace.

There's been a spate of suicides from actresses starting with Silk, Viji and Monal. Now the latest actress to commit suicide is Mayuri.
Mayuri made her entry into films with 'Kumbakonam Gopalu.' A very young thing with a pretty face. As she got more film opportunities, she also got more problems, including health problems. Overcoming all these, she starred in 'Whistle,' '18 Rainbow Colony,' and 'Manmadhan' as well as in the TV serial 'Salanam.' Having achieved all this, why did she take a drastic decision to end her life? It's to be mentioned that in the recently released 'Kanaa Kandein,' Mayuri had a small role.
Yesterday when everyone in her home had gone out, she hung herself with a sari from the ceiling fan.
Terrible stomach pain is cited as the reason for her extreme decision. But the police are also investigating if there is a love failure that could have led to this.
Mayuri was just 22 years old when she took her life.

I have seen this movie kanaa kandean six times. its a very good movie with good story and music and brilliant acting by Mayuri. I became her fan after this movie but sadly now there would be no more movies of hers.
