This is a travel agency which is run by a retired service couple who organize foreign travels. It also has a sister branch with the name of Holiday Bash International which also is owned by the same couple, SBS Lidder and Amarjit Lidder.
We had a very harrowing experience with these two very glib and smooth-talking travel consultants when we opted for Europe tour with them. They will influence you with verbal false promises and also citing that they have more than 20 years of experience in organizing foreign tours for defense families. They will also say that they have 80%, repeat customers. Please do not get unduly influenced by them as all their verbal assurances and promises will vanish, the moment they have your money with them.
They are very suave in manners till the time you don't pay up. They will pick up all your calls but the moment you pay up the equation changes.
In the name of 3-star hotels, you will be accommodated in some zero-star lodges or tourist houses way out of the city you are visiting. Then for sightseeing you will be taken only to free locations and that too for just half day. They will really make your trip so harrowing that you will curse the day you opted a tour with them.
Generally, their tour groups are small, not more than 20 - 25 people and both the Lidders will accompany the group in the name of providing you better services and looking after you. Just do not fall for this ruse of them. Because they both traveled with only to make our lives miserable. They would take you to a hotel for dinner and there they would announce that the dinner is free but there is no drink, not even water with it. If you want to have a drink then pay extra, while both of them will be having wine and beer at your expense. They will have one or more serving of the food while you will be told to fill up the plate once and no second serving.
It was a huge mistake that we went with them for a Europe tour. The sad part is that the only reviews available about them are all curated reviews on their website which have been given by their friends or very old.
Today the travel industry has become huge with so many travel companies offering various packages. They neither have the expertise nor dedicated staff in various countries to conduct guided tours, so they travel with you. So you will wait for hours at Airports, Bus stands, railway stations as all their hired transport will be late.
Also, being old and aged, above 70, the Lidders are not good with latest technologies like Google maps and use of offline mapping Apps which can be very handy when you do not get the cellular network. So you will be stranded if the guide is late or fail to come. We paid so much money but then just got to watch last 15 minutes of the tap-dancing show in Barcelona because these old hags did not know the location of the venue.
These Lidders will cut corners at every stage, be it provision of water, transport, food and even sight-seeing. My sincere advice, please avoid them.
