..::(*~Its Time To DISCO~*)::.. Review on Kal Ho Naa Ho Songs

This is a music review but I just thought to talk a little about the movie too…It’s supposed to release in November ( I m very much looking forward to it!)

Although, I really don’t wanna have high expectations cause its being directed by Nikhil Advani.

Anyways, this is movie is supposedly remake of “ANAND” – yes~! that Rajesh Khanna classic and Babu Moshayei .

Most of you (oldies) must be thinking.. “Can’t this new generation come up with anything new…they are coping movies & remixing our classic songs – right?

Anyways, Rajesh Khanna’s role will be played by none other than King Khan (SRK), Babu Moshaei’s role will be played by Saif. That unknown actress will be played by Preity Zinta.

Ok just a little comment… I don’t really know why Priety took on this movie…I mean I m sure this will be a emotional saga…but she is bubbly so I don’t know if she’ll be able to perform this role well….anyways…now I m done…lets being the music review !

Sonu Nigam

Title track sung is very well composed and sung very beautifully by Sonu Nigam. It’s a very soft soothing song. Song is very well picturized in the heart of New York. Songs seems to remind me of “Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli” – just the wordings not the music.

Sadhna Sargam, Sujata, Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, & Shankar

This is a group song – seems to have many stars singing.This song sounds like a perfect “that Karan Johar” touch…this song somehow reminds me of “Shava Shava”. It’s a loud song with a lot of “halla gulla” – I think you have to listen to it more than once..to really like it _I did! Btw, I just saw the preview of it and the song is very beautifully choreographed and the costumes seem to be costly too (hehe).

Vasundhara Das, Kay kay, Shaan, & Loy Mendosa

This is my FAVORITE SONG from the whole album! It starts with English lyrics then add some fusion and vasundhra’s sexy voice there you have it my fav. Song of the year ! I just love vasundhra’s voice! This song is basically tells you to do whatever you feel like it ! Song has such good music and sung so beautifully by the singers!

5/5 ( I would give it at least 10 stars – I keep on listenin to this song over n over again and I think my friends are very tired of it since he likes the title track)

Alka & Shaan

Song describes the way you feel when u r in luv! Alka sounds beautiful.

This song is really a soft song – really sounds nice with expressing all your “first luv” emotions. Shaan is great as always!

This is more like a sad wedding song…here’s what I see – Preity getting married to Saif but she is in love with Shahrukh..

Song begins with wedding ‘Boliyan’ then both guy and gal express their sad feelings. This is one of fav. From the album too. !

Remember, Pretty Woman walkn down the street…(didn’t u like that song!?)

This Is pretty woman desi version with all the drums and shankar’s loud voice! This is my second favorite song! Pretty good song that you bhangra on it too! Hehe

Ok…well I read most of your reviews and heard there was another “INSTRUMENTAL” thing .. but my cd doesn’t have it. And haven’t heard it either but I m sure what I heard in Armaan (that sax version) and this whole album I m sure its great!!

Overall, this album is a MUST BUY For all SEL fans or SRK fans…oh just pick any reason and buy the album!

I m personally looking forward to the movie too…can’t wait to see these beautiful songs picturised.

What I enjoyed more was that the cd cover had lyrics of all the songs…!!
