Good cast but nothing new . Review on Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai

There is nothing new about this new Balaji telefilms venture, in fact it is very similar to Kahi To Hoga(KTH) on star plus ( Which I am not sure whether it still airs or not). Lead characters being Angad ,similar to Sujal of KTH, played by Mohammad Iqbal Khan, Kripa is Kashish of KTH ( Notice the K connection) and Prithvi is Piyush played by Amit Tandon of Indian Idol Fame.

So whats different about this one? Well instead of being multi millionaires and managing a business, these people are in the music industry. Angad is a pop icon, Kripa a new talented singer (and a fan of Angad) ,I still havnt figured out what prithvi does, but he totally is smitten by Kripa.

I must say that Ekta Kapoor ( or whoever incharge) has done a wonderful job with the casting. Angad is really HOT!!!( The main reason I watch the show), not that good an actor( I would give him 6 on 10 for acting) but he is very convincing with the ''bad guy but good at heart'' image . I only wish he didn't show off his tattooed biceps(something Sujal lacked!!!) that often. Kripa is very pretty and looks innocent, fits the role perfectly. Also playing Mishti, Prithvi's sister is a fresh face and a good find. The only misfit is Prithvi (Amit tandon,my mortal enemy) who cant act and cant look good. Even when he has no dialogues and is dreaming(about kripa) he looks like an idiot!!!! This guy has no future!

Like all Ekta kapoor serials this serial has its share of vamps in the form of Angad's mother and his cousin sister. And like all Ekta kapoor serials I think after few episodes this serial is also going to be one big bore.
