This is the world of Designer Materials. So why the movies will leave behind. K3G seems to be a complete designer movie by Karan Johar. Though his first movie kkhh was also on same lines but it had some novelty in it, as it was the first of Karan Johar.
My ranking of movie – 3/5 and why I do not recommend this movie too friends
Great homework done by the director, writer and editors of crew. It is indeed difficult job to collect different ideas from hit films and collectively put them into a thread. Typical hindi movie touching formulas. Oh really touched by the movie. So emotional na.
Plot – 2/5
Two points to club the ideas very well and giving them polished view.
Billionaire businessman (AB) and typical bhartiya nari - Not having child - Adopt one – treated like their own son.
After 10 years of adoption – gives birth to their orignal betaaaa.
First son grows – falls in love with middle class family soni kudiiiii.
Father refuses to accept and fixes the marriage with another rich ladkiiiiii.
But, due to typical circumstances he marries that middle class girl. So touchy you know.
Father refuses to accept the bahu. Poor bahuuu. Ma has to accept father’s decision. Poorest maaaa.
Son leaves home. Second son returns from boarding school.
He pledges to get back his bhaiyaaaaa.
Finds his girl, that too bhabhi’s bahenyaaaa.
Rest was supposed to happen.
I agree well collected story line and plot. But can’t we have something new and fresh from new talented Directors.
Choosing the actors - 3/5
Karan Johar’s dream to feature AB in his film fulfilled. AB + Jaya, SK = Kajol, HR + KK, can we have better star cast of the year.
Acting - 3/5
No body had anything to give their own; it was director’s movie. AB and Kajol leave behind some impressions.
Technically - 5/5
Superb, Kiran Deohans, for his photography,
Sharmishta Roy for her art direction,
Manish Malhotra for costumes and Hritik’s and Sharuk’s Personal Designers,
Sanjay Sankla for excellent edition
Above all Karan Johar was there.
Can be watched if you can ignore boring plot and story line.
