An intro for those who haven't been here .
Joet's Bar and Restaurant is one calm place for the people
who like to be away from the madding crowd,
Located at about 4.7 kms approx. from the city of Vasco Da Gama,
Joet's in iteself produces one nice place to hangout and enjoy your food.
The following are a few more insights on the Restaurant.
LOCATION:-
The place is located neatly at the heart of the Bogmolo beach stretch. The Bogmolo beach which is around 4.7 kms away from the city of Vasco is in itself one of the many prominent beaches in Goa.So I don't really think finding the place will be a hard task.
Even so if you are a first timer in Goa and have problems finding the place, the locals will help you out with the directions.
AMBIANCE:-
The place is very well located by the beachside and also the restaurant has acquired much of the place which means pretty well for those parking their cars, So as far the parking problem goes it's more than solved.Although don't be surprised to find the place packed on weekends as the place promises one hell of a dining experience for foodies.
SERVICE:-
The place is usually packed with the tourists visiting the beach at times but the service is pretty good.The staff is polite.I personally rate it at 4/5.Let's save that one star for that little extra time if they can put up.
MENU:-
Well the menu is pretty organised as far as the food is concerned with everything from seafood to salads, pretty well served and decorated. The calamari is one of the best you might have ever tasted anywhere else in a seafood haven.There are many other sea food dishes a foodie might really dig in into.Also the chicken dishes are well cooked and presented well. The Chicken garlic dry was something new that I tasted there and it was really nice, blended with excellence along with some specials like their Schezwan sauce and myonaise. There are many other regular dishes you get here usually expected from by a beachside restaurant. In the main course the pepper sauced Chicken steak was one of the main lookouts, although I'm a little displeased with the quantity and the extras they give along with the chicken breast.
PRICES and OUANTITY:-
The prices are pretty reasonable as compared to many other beachside based restaurants in Goa. They can vary from Rs. 700 to 800 for a two persons meal at an average. Ofcourse it might be less or more depending on the drinks and other things if you take along with you meal.The Quantity served is pretty good except I feel that the Chicken steak could have been a little more than served.
FINAL TAKE:-
All and all I feel that this place is indeed one of the many that should be on your list if you crave seaside foods and delicacies. With a nice dining experience that Joet's restaurant gives, it is one of the many places you can hangout and chill with your squad.!
