Jo jeeta wohi sikander is an all time favorite of mine.It is all about the teen years--winning and losing,mischief and punishments,crushes and innocence,love and heartbreak everything that we go through when we are just teens but try to be adults(Who says adults are more sensible???)
This movie is pretty different from the regular hindi films because--
1.there is no hero,The main character Sanju is anything but heroic-he cheats,is upto mischief,doesnt study,doesnt work,doesnt play sport infact he and his two chamchas are good for nothings
2.This movie actually has a moral--Try and you will succeed is what the story tells you.Sanju does not improve overnight,he wins the race in the end with the support of his friends and his own efforts.
3.The whole film revolves around school kids which is not seen in many films(the only other film I can remember is Hip Hip Hurray-another nice film)
Naughty but sweet Sanju played by Aamir khan,his innocent and heartbroken girlfriend Ayesha jhulka,the serious and most decent elder brother Mamik,the rich spoilt brat Pooja Bedi,not to forget Deepak Tijori who gets all the cow dung on his face--all wonderful,unforgettable characters.
The highlight of the film of course is Aamir Khan one of the finest actors today and definitely my favourite.The music also is melodious,all in all a very sweet film not to be missed..
