The theme of ''Jo Bole So Nihaal'' shows a Jat chasing his chief adversary Punjab to New York. And what comes later was supposedly a laugh and comedy. It was a great idea but director spoiled it.
Sunny is the best to play a Jat in film industry after his father. But director and script let him down most of the time.
Comedy..: Sunny(Nihal Singh) just uses the word Punjabi word 'aur' to rhyme with the word whore. And less dressed heroine(A FBI cop) comes on him as if she will just shoot him. This is funny. The other sequence of Sunny bumping in heroin and his mother getting hiccups in Punjab...made me smile.
Sure, Sunny makes you smile. Sunny's taking on situations in his own unique way is was matters most in his ability of putting smile on every face.
Most of the frames had Sunny in them. And sometimes I felt that director wants Sunny to carry this movie from begining to end.
A little polished direction would have given much better returns.
Very unique and good sequence: Check out the sequences on the ship where Sunny pretends to be his own double. I liked it, and infact at times I was confused and thinking if there is one more Sunny:-)
Sunny stands taller then all other actors in film. But there are sufficient 'creative' things around that make his efforts drown finally.
Overall you can see this movie for once if you are Sunny's fan.....else there is nothing in the plot.
