Newspaper and newspapers and then there is some more newspaper all up with their publication print out one articles or the other which makes them different from other,apart from their names which are naturally
different.
But the articles, the presentation, the style are the main factors which makes the big difference and results in success of one and the failure of the other.
’’Times of India’’ surely seems to be dominating the world of print media in media and the long stay they have made in India surely makes them deserve a clap.Surely many of you reading this might not agree with my opinion on this but you see opinions differ.
OK I agree that TOI has some downside(I have read some of the reviews on this products and so say so), but guys who does not and I totally agree with those who say that TOI has some downside, really just buy JLT and you will see why
JLT - Just Like That is a youth magazine presented to you by the Bombay Times.This magazine is published forth nightly and is available at all the leading newsstand.
The cost of this differs from anywhere between Rs 2/- to Rs 5/- to Rs 7/-.
But is the money(I am talking about Rs 2/-) worth spending?
JLT - JUST LIKE THAT
JLT again a temptation provided to the user by the Bombay Time for the teens who love to read, read just about anything, does matter what they read and what these people print, but surely print, print so much that the cover at least 16 pages.
The magazine has the most upright dumb articles and dumb section which I still can’t figure out where they get the Idea’s from?
I have been reading this magazine from their first publication and they have really changed from BAD TO WORSE.
Let’s open up this magazine page by page and see what’s printed inside...just to give you a look into this dumb magazine.
The Cover Page
By saying temptation on the above lines I meant the cover.Really I think they focus atleast 10 days out of 15 on designing the cover, thinking of which model’s half naked picture should we print so that people will by our magazine.
Really the cover pages contains picture of great model’s who are mostly revealing...so am I wrong when I say that they tempt to buy and don’t give any value for money?
The Editors pages and public opinion
The Editor of this magazine should be really shown the exit door.The earlier editor of this magazine was good and she was doing a great job, but from the day this new editor has stepped in the whole scenario has changed.
The Editor doesn’t seem to understand what people want to read, she is mainly focussing on what she can approve to print as she responsible for completion of the magazine.
OK Editor I don’t blame you if you have no good articles to print, if you don’t have good articles then stop printing and wasting the pages, just don’t continue the magazine because you started one.
The Public opinion are section wherein the ED print public opinion and rarely have I seen any article printed against the magazine and for the opinions which say bad about JLT, the Editor say ’’she doesn’t care as long as they buy JLT’.
Some people say that printing a magazine is hard and JLT is doing a great job, but guys it’s not difficult for JLT.
The Rest all pages
I could have written long long review on the magazine but I think I don’t have that much space, so something about every page.
The Jokes
They are mostly copied of the net, you just might find a few in your mailbox if you have a FWD group and most of the jokes are from that only.
The Horoscope
Well do you believe in this?If yes read on, I just read once to see if this really work and it didn’t.
The Chill Pill
Well I think the JLT magazine surely needs one, this page is mainly upon the articles by the JLT team about their experience.
The Panorama
The pages really sucks and I still can’t figure out what is printed on this page as the articles are mainly changing and not to a suitable category.
The Posters
Well JLT sure catches the user with this page and the poster printed are good and the qualities of the print are also good.So one star for this.
The Fashion
Mostly contains GIRL stuff and fashion information for the GIRL.The tips provided are useful and great(that’s what my friends say..who are girls) and worth a checkout, as far as guys fashion is taken sorry guys.
Contest
The contests run on this magazine are surely the most toughest and the prizes are mostly movie tickets and JLT shirts.
The crossword is good, but the rest all contest makes you think.
Did I mention articles??
When it comes to articles JLT surely deserves a award in the dumbest category.What are the articles published mainly....IT’S ALL ABOUT SEX
The articles are mainly written based on the sex category, while Dr.MOJO makes some special appearance who seems to answer all your sexual problems.
The articles also contain some college information and stuff happening around the major cities.
The rest all pages are filled with....you guessed it right ADS AND MORE ADS..as the Times of India tradition continues.
Conclusion
After reading all this about this magazine you might have figured out what I would say at last.You guessed it right...don’t buy this, it’s not worth the money not even Rs 2/-
And if you really want to have a look just grab this forth night’s(Jan 2003) issue which cost’s Rs 2.- and you will see why I say this much about this magazine.
