My product number is NO0000MZKELH.
The whole story starts on 23rd September 2022 when one of Jio's representatives comes within an hour after confirming the order. He took details and payment. He mentioned that someone will be here to install next day. I got an email confirming about installation on 24th September at 13:00 hrs. Everything seems fine and fast. I stay at home on the 24th to make sure wifi gets installed. On the 24th around 10:30 am got an email about a time change to 14:30 hours. I was fine that at least it will install by today. But after 30 minutes I got a new email it changed to 29th September at 10:00 am. I was like they really feel that people are sitting at home and the government paying to stay at home. What a crap. I called Customer care and informed her that I need internet at home asap because every night I have meetings with my overseas staff. She promised and got confirmed in an email that engineers will come on 24th at 13:00hours but no one show up.
I got a call from the Engineer on 25th September that they are coming to install. I asked them about timing and they confirmed that they will be here within a few minutes. As usual, no one shows up till evening. I called them and they informed me they are not coming anymore as it's raining hard. I understand it was raining the whole day but why they didn't inform me before that they can't make it today? But anyway they confirmed someone will be here on 26th September.
Now on 26th September, I decided to stay at home. I was sure they will come and install it. The weather was fine and start waiting for them. Suddenly got an email around 12pm that they have changed the date again to 29th September. I called customer care she again promised that someone will be here on the 27th at 10 am as that schedule is available. Got an email confirmation, I was sure this time someone will come as I already made two calls. Hope they will understand.
On 27th no one shows up. When no one showed up until 12pm I was sure no one is coming. I left to do my job and called customer care about a refund. She tried a lot not to cancel and promise again to get installed on 28th September morning. I can't get cancelled at that time because the Jio agent has written incorrect details. So I called back again around 9 pm once I got details from my sister-in-law. Then I find out they have added the father's name instead of the husband's name. She confirmed it will take 7 days but received no email about the cancellation.
On 28th September again got an email that they rescheduled my installation to 3rd October from 28th. I have worked with so many companies overseas and in India but I haven't seen any unprofessionalism like this. I never write feedback about any company(as I also work hospitality industry) but thanks to Jio service for wasting my time. I would suggest please be far from this company at least in Chandigarh/Zirakpur section until they start to deliver promises. I start removing Jio connections from my Himachal Properties. Pathetic. Can't trust them.
