Doesn't do what it satys. Review on Jergen's Naturally Smooth Shave Minimizing Lotion

When seeing the commercial, I thought it sounded great. I mean what woman wouldn't think so. No wax, no sticky goop, less shaving, thinner hair, and moisturizer all at the same time. I'm one of those people who want to hear from someone else that something new works, before I go out sending my husbands hard earned money. One day I went to a friends house and saw the bottle sitting on the table. I asked her if it worked. She had said she had only had it for a week, so she wasn't sure yet. Well about a week later, I was at the store and need lotion. Sure enough there it was, I couldn't help it, had to try it.

INGREDIENTS: Water, glycerin, cetearyl alcohol, petrolatum, mineral oil, sd alcohol, ceteareth-20, sanguisorba officinalis root extract*, aluminum starch octenyl-succinate, dimethicone, cyclomethicone, stearic acid, glyceryl dilaurate, dmdm hydantoin, methylparaben, propylparaben, fragrance, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, carbomer, sodium hydroxide. *means herbalsilk It also says it's great in bikini area. The lotion is a off white, thick lotion, with a powerful smell. A little harsh if you have a headache. I'm one of those that if I have a headache certain smells make it worse. Rubs in pretty easy, you don't have to work at it.

So in one week of using, I didn't notice a thing. All day moisture?? Don't think so, my legs looked dry within 2 hours. I hung in there though. 4 weeks, ok I have to admit my bikini area did look better, not needing to shave so much there. Legs on the other hand still felt like sandpaper by that evening. 8 weeks, bikini area was thinning out a bit where I would shave, but legs still not getting anywhere. I was still shaving my legs daily after 8 weeks of use. I didn't see a improvement at all. I tried this product during the summer. My legs were still dry after using it after a couple of hours. Now I'm not going out to buy this product just for my bikini line . I only shave that area during the summer when I wear a bathing suit. I'm sure all you woman agree, shaving there is a nightmare. No where on the bottle does it say it's not animal tested. Did they shave bunnies to see if it worked?? Sorry just have to ask. Not a joke. I like none animal tested products. I'm sure we all do. So I guess I could say I'm not rushing out to buy a new bottle. When I quit using this product my legs still felt the same when using a different lotion. I even ask my friend how she liked it months later, she said she didn't see a difference either. So there you have it, a big two thumbs down.
