HORRRRRRRID! That one star on this Review has a MINUS next to it! They should have those Hersheys lookalike icons for reviews like this - if you know what I mean. I would have given it an ALL Hershey's review for sure.
I have ordered several products online from different vendors. NEVER EVER have I had to deal with as USELESS and IRRESPONSIBLE a company, as JBL. I made the horrific mistake of ordering a JBL Flip 3 Stealth Edition from their official website. I paid 500 bucks more for it than on Amazon India since I was under the impression that I will get a genuine JBL product instead of the numerous fakes that are being sold on Amazon India as per customer reviews posted there. I placed the order on 30th Sept. 2019 online. It is now 29th Oct. 2019(one month) - and after numerous separate calls to the JBL customer(don’t) care, and hollow assurances that the product will reach me, there is STILL NO SIGN of that speaker.
Side story about the company – Delhivery - that JBL is using to “deliver”(LOL!) their product. I received a text message in the morning on 11th Oct. 2019 on my phone that my package will be delivered that day. After waiting the whole day, at 6:57pm, I got a text message saying the delivery cannot be made since I have requested delivery for the next day i.e. 12th Oct. 2019. Fact - I made NO SUCH request! When I immediately called the delivery person on the given contact number in the text message, he simply informed me that it will now be reaching me tomorrow! And that tomorrow hasn’t dawned yet! I track the package online every day and it gives me the status as “Delivery rescheduled by customer” with 11th Oct. as the date for the last order tracking update. Adding insult to injury! What kind of a joke is this? And calls to JBL only prove absolutely futile.
What's worse is - I have already shelled out about 4 thousand bucks for it. And they are saying that it is DelhiVery(VERY USELESS delivery company) that is holding the package and I have to contact them. I did. They DO NOT pick up their phone! Nor can JBL cancel my order and refund me the money! Nice arrangement to fleece regular unsuspecting folks - take our money, don't deliver the product and then don't refund our money back either saying that “we have sent it, now it's up to the delivery company”.
JBL - There is NO POINT having celebs like A R Rahman as your brand ambassadors in your ads. You need to check on what's going on with your distribution services as well. How is such a horrid company being used for delivering your products? Have you SEEN the online reviews for this “Delhivery” company? More importantly, is there ANYONE who is responsible in your company who can sort this rubbish out? You cannot hold my money and blame it on the delivery company whom YOU have engaged! This tantamounts to online larceny. JBL stands for – Just Bull#^#ing and Lying.
I regret placing this order. I could have made better use of that money someplace else.
To each and every JBL prospective customer - DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!
I am posting this review everywhere possible.
PLEASE DO NOT ORDER JBL PRODUCTS ONLINE. THEY TAKE "WORST EXPERIENCE" to a whole new level. Save your money, energy and time. Get some other speaker instead!
