I am going to write in detail about my experience in Jaypee Hospital. First of all, you all need to know they are here for business (money-making) and nothing else. So, keep your expectations low. I don't know how people are giving it 5 stars in review.
1. Doctor:
Beware of Dr. Reenu Jain and her team of gynaecologist doctors. They will build fear inside you and ultimately they are going to suck your hard-earned money out of your pockets using that fear. If you are planning to visit this doctor, please think twice before consulting her or her team.
2. Parking:
First and foremost they don't have any basement parking or any covered parking. And the existing parking area is very far from the hospital entry. They have strategically closed all the entry points of the hospital near the parking area. They also charge a very high amount for the open parking.
3. Food/Pantry:
You cannot take homemade food or outside food inside the hospital if you are going to the 3rd floor and above. But here are the double standards, you can take the food if you purchase it from the hospital itself which is very inconvenient. Also, if you order any food from your ward, there is a chance that it might not arrive or might take more than an hour to arrive. The food quality was not very great but okay.
4. Nursing staff:
The nursing staff on the 5th floor were professional and very good.
5. Hygiene:
This is the only thing that was good about this hospital. All the areas including ward, washroom and common area were properly cleaned.
6. Billing:
They made thrice the amount in the total bill from my estimated bill. I returned medicines of approx ₹2300 but in my final bill, it was not deducted. They promised that it will be returned to the pharmacy and its amount will be returned to you or adjusted in the final bill. When I asked them about it, they started making excuses and ultimately didn't adjust the amount.
7. Hospital's vision:
'Promoting healthcare to the common masses with the growing needs of society by providing quality and affordable healthcare with commitment.'
Their vision is blurred by the money. Common masses cannot afford to get treatment from this hospital. So it's nonsense.
8. Hospital's Mission:
'The Jaypee Group is committed to serve the cause of millions who seek dedicated quality and affordable healthcare through its multi-super speciality facility, the Jaypee Hospital. With advanced healthcare facilities, the latest diagnostic services and state-of-the-art technology focused on medical specialities, the Jaypee Hospital strives to be the ultimate choice for medical care.'
They have the state of art infrastructure and facilities but it's nowhere near affordable. They should change their vision and mission.
