Jaslok or Mrityulok readers please decide. My sister-in-law was admitted on 3rd October 2021 and we knew that it's a preterm delivery(8th month). On 7th October 2021, my nephew was born weighing 1.890kgs and Dr. Manshukhani and Dr. Poornima congratulated my sister-in-law stating baby is absolutely alright and will be kept in incubator for a few days. My nephew was doing well till October 16th and then he took a turn for worse and finally passed away on 19th. While I must say Dr. Poornima did a good job. I am very disgusted with NICU doctors and staff.

1) All this while when my nephew was given milk my sister-in-law was never given breastfeeding room and inspite of several requests Dr. Rachna told her that Dr. Fazal will get angry on us.

2) Dr. Fazal his license should be terminated all he does is runs from one hospital to another and runs his own private clinic and pays no attention to the health of his patients.

3) Me, my parents never saw the baby all this while. We saw him on 19th when he passed away where as another patient Kxxxxxxx Mxxxx whose relatives used to bribe the staff and they were allowed repeatedly inside the NICU.

4) We were tolerating all as my sister-in-law had a miscarriage in 2019 and we were very happy that there is a baby in the family and finally our prayers were answered

5) Me, My parents saw the baby on the day he passed away and my mom asked Dr. Fazal why was my sister-in-law not given a feeding room and he said here it is and when we opened it all the staff bags were there it was more like a pantry or a store room. Mind you it's inside NICU. Imagine the situation.

6) To further scrub salts on our wounds Dr. Fazal makes disgusting statements: "Dr. Manshukhani Ulhasnagar ke critical cases leke aati hai, tum sindhi mumbai kyun aate ho treatment ke liye" to which I told him that why are we sindhis not paying you? How can you make such statements about your senior doctor just coz she is 80 plus and now does not perform surgeries.

7) Yes I am from Ulhasnagar and I am sindhi and i am proud of it. Show me a constitutional law which says that Sindhis can't take treatment from Mumbai hospitals? Also, Dr. Manshukhani didn't come to my house asking whether there was any pregnant woman in the house if yes then get her treated in Jaslok hospital. And by the way, our ancestors were visionary and they have always thought of welfare of society hence they have give so many schools, colleges and hospitals. You can't make such statements about us.

8) While we were leaving they asked us our feedback and they later conducted a zoom meeting on 22nd October 2021 because they had to discuss internally.

9) We were not in right frame of mind still we had a zoom meeting and before the start of meeting we said we need recording of the meeting.

10) In the meeting there were Dr. Milind, Dr. Manshukhani , Dr. Neha , Dr. Poornima and Dr. Sachin, Dr. Fazal.

11) Before the start of meeting we requested that we need meeting recording and they agreed that they will share the recording and now Dr. Neha says ask Palak , Palak says dont message me then we again reach out to Dr. Sachin and Dr. Neha they said Dr. Milind has authority and Dr. Milind said today (13th Nov) we will see as we have other work as well and I am not sure whether zoom meeting gets recorded as well to which I told him stop lying and he said you can't insult me. After all this what you expect me to do? Talk to him , send him Thankyou bouquets ?

12) In the entire meeting, it depicted that whatever pointers we told them on 19th while leaving they have come prepared with answers. Dr. fazal even got fumbled and in the open forum he was shielded by other doctors which they themselves realise when I asked on 18th October Monday he came to meet patient in 804B and not in 804 A (my sister-in-law's room) post which my sister-in-law's mom went to him and he said baby is fine and later he said he wasn't even aware that my sister-in-law was in hospital how can that be.

13) There has been no communication by Dr. Fazal that my nephew had multiple organ failures. Some interns that night in NICU said it's congenital pneumonia some said it's sepsis but on death certificate its multiple organ failure and upon being questioned why no clear communication he said we didn't want to scare the parents of the baby. So who will get to know what's happening to the baby?

14) Dr. Manshukhani coincidentally met my brother on Sunday and told let me talk to people in NICU and then she updated us but this was coincidence that she met my brother else we wouldn't be aware.

15) All the pointers they came prepared and one pointer which I raised and they were speachless when I asked attendant has to take covid test and bring report coming to hospital and also go through temperature checks I want to see the covid report of their staff from 3rd to 19th October, not just temperature checks as they go daily to their homes and covid won't say "Oh! you are hospital staff I won't affect you. Later Dr. Neha on the phone call said that you didn't tell us this point before.

16) Dr. Manshukhani on 19th told my sister-in-law over the call that practice detachment my question and on Zoom meeting that we should not be having such meetings instead treat other patients, you are 80 plus and now you don't do surgeries and are even bullied by Doctors like Fazal whom you call your son why don't you detach yourself from the hospital?

17) We have never got zoom meeting recording till date and we have been following up with Dr. Sachin and Dr. Neha they said we have taken corrective measures and now feeding room is provided to mothers and staff wears a PPE kit but we won't give you meeting recording as Dr. Milind needs to decide.

18) We requested them to arrange a meeting with Dr. Milind after almost a month of follow up they clearly denied it and today (13th Nov) when I called Dr. Milind he said all clinical measures were correctly taken I don't want to meet. My question is if clinical measures are medicines then where does NICU which is supposed to be restricted zone why other patients relatives were allowed? Why was feeding room not given? Then if it's just medicines and injectables prescribe it we will get it done anyway we are from Ulhasnagar so we shouldn't be getting ourselves treated from Mumbai. Does Dr. Milind say this is charitable hospital really then why did we pay 12.5 lacs in total? If it was charity. He is another doctor with a MBA degree from XLRI and works as Business Development Officer and said we are charitable hospital. Way he talks is absolutely rudely and expects us to respect him. I told him that stop lieing to which he is telling me don't insult me when you deny everything and then say that respect doctors, sorry I don,t respect you especially who have made these hospitals corporates. Even if it costs me my life I will fight because I can't see any mother losing her child atleast now when you say you have taken corrective measures I would advice people not to get delivered their babies delivered here and atleast not put them under Dr. Fazal.

If you folks think you are right then share the zoom meeting recording. And hospitals like Jaslok that charge you a bomb are saying corrective measures then I think we should stop trusting these private hospitals. #Jaslok #jaslokhospitalandresearchcenter #DisgustingBehaviour #medicalnegligence
