Sea Food Ahoy !
Welcome to the arguably BEST Sea Food Restaurant in Mumbai. Yes, I mean it. All others can take a TIP or two from here on how to make great Sea-Food at such an attractive Price that makes cooking at home seem pricey.
They serve piping hot Malvani, Goan, Mangalorean and Tandoori cuisine. Veg and Non-Veg.
But stick to their specialty, i.e. FISH, and you'll go home licking your fingers long after you've cleared your Bill.
Try theirPomfret Gassi for just a 120/- measly bucks. Gassi means in Gravy and its a Manglorean speciality. They also serve Squids, Crabs, Bangda, Surmai, Prawns, and Shell Fish (called Tisrya here)
You could opt for their Goan Curry variety which is more red and cooked with a coconut milk flavour.
For those who love their Fish Fry, try their Squid Chilly at just 110/- bucks - Its dry and its yummy.
If you really are in mood to celebrate, then ask for their Catch of the Day i.e. Pomfret Tandoori which is charged as per size roughly should set you back by around 400/- but well worth the money. Tandoori Pomfretor Rawas is slow cooked and takes about 30 mins to 45 mins to arrive at your table (Its made only to order and freshly cooked)
I have even sampled their Chicken Biryani and its reasonably good and value for money.
TheirChicken Vindaloo is delicious, as is the Chicken Kolhapuri. Spicy, Sharp and Tangy.
Surmai Tawa also was a delight.
Paneer Tikka masala again was laced with a lot of thick red creamy gravy and coupled with Mix Veg gives my Vegetarian friends no cause to complain.
They even serve Biryani by the Kilo and require at least a days notice costing around 750/- a kilo and good enough to serve 6 persons lavishly.
They do home delivery (Call on 26483381 or 32951482 ) but be prepared for an hours wait. Otherwise you could always visit this small eatery and see for yourself - its located on the busy Pali Naka and you'll enjoy the busy thoroughfare in your cosy little corner right there yet secluded.
Always crowded with the young and old alike, you could easily be rubbing shoulders with your neighbourhood Millionaire and not know any better.
Keep Eating !
