Watching the previous work of Anurag Basu and Ranbir Singh(Barfi!) I went to the hall with high expectation for lot of laughter but unfortunately it turned out to be a disaster. Jagga Jasoos has everything else in the movie like chasing, musical adventure, saving the world but it forget to add the most important thing, a plot, yes guys this movie lack a story.

Its a spy adventure movie like that of Tintin where the main character is in search for his father and unfortunately slips upon an illegal arms trade, its like an experiment which Director Basu did, the screenplay is arranged like lessons from a fantasy book so what happens is the lead actress Shruti, played by Katrina Kaif narrates the story of Jagga, how he uses musical ways to solve mysteries, the movie is full predictable and the essence of music is missing in its songs as well.

When jagga was small he lived very happily with his dad and than he was sent to boarding school and suddenly his father disappears, the only contact jagga had with his dad was a VHS tape that he receives in the mail every single year on his birthday. since he was blessed with excellent detective skills, he sets out to solve the greatest mystery of his missing dad. while he is on his journey he comes across this journalist shruti who has an international crime case to be solved. As they move on the journey to find his missing dad they find themselves surrounded in a smuggling racket which is spread all over the world. Cinematography is good but it lacks a plot as I said.

Wouldn't be worth to watch in PVR and cinemas, go for laptop and save some money.
