Mass Comm itself is a very wide field and a huge course. Which requires lot of attention and indulgement, engagement of Faculty with students. Though here the faculty is very polite, Infra is up to mark and enviornment is very welcoming. Still I believe its not an appropriate for Mass comm. There is no proper labs facility to go through radio and videography activities. Learn other camera skills, reporting on field, designing labs.
These things help a mass comm student to experience and explore at college level. But these all the tings are not up to mark in JIMS.
