I am sharing my personal experience of recent shopping on Jabong. They keep sending me promo codes and offers regularly. I dont knkw where they got my email from?
I thought of giving it a try to see how it is as I am a regular shopper online so ordered a couple of sandals for my wife and mother first. The order got placed while I was trying to apply coupon as it took me to the payment page.
Once I entered details of my card and all it got payed but then I noticed that discount is nil. Went back tried and to get the msg that its an invalid coupon and try again with the items displayed below.
So, I thought lets checkout these items and see if it works for me. I did so and chose two clothings and footwear for myself but to disgust me once again coupon didnt work. But I was cautious this time so didnt enter my details.
I then went back to cancel the previous wrongly placed order which was less than an hour back so wasnt yet processed. I cancelled it and emailed to their customer care to get the reply it will be done in 48hrs and then would take another 7 days to reach your card a/c.
This is simply unethical and not acceptable as it was within minutes I cancelled it. If they were customer centric they would have done it by now as its three days gone but they arent so.
Once a similar occurence happened with me for an order with Amazon and it came back within hours of cancelling the order. Thats what should have been the case. Anways I feel it was really an experience not to remember.
