Off Recent the Indian cricket team management is regularly sending Irfan Pathan to bat as one down batsman. It is ridiculous.
Indian team is having six batsmen to
bat on. Why they need an additional support from a bowler who should be allowed more time to improve his bowling skills rather than batting skills. Are the Indian batsman not confident in themselves? Is the captain being a batsman scared that India should not loose due to the batting failures and thing that India can afford to loose due to bowling failure so that the batsman will not get any blame?
If the Captain is overloading Pathan like this then Why he is talking about player burn out due to more cricket? Now it seems due to unwanted overloading from batting department, Pathan has lost his magic touch in bowling.
It is a rare gift that India got a bowler like Pathan. We should preserve him for long term. Pls don’t over kill him
