Hi friends. This is Navin kumar shukla and now I am going to share my experiences about an application knows as IRCTC Rail Connect. This is vrey common app which is being used by several of people daily. But really it is not so beneficial for users. As I feel a lots of problems while using it. Firstly have a look about the app. This app is developed by railway itself and best use from mobiles. As this app contain lots of features like ticket booking, checking PNR status, file TDR, ticket cancellation etc. Apart from all these, it has some more features likewise Air ticket, Book meal and IRCTC tourism. Altgough I bookes lots of tickets from this app but the shortcomings which I find wanna share with you guys. Lets talk onee by one.
1- As it is already a huge application in terms of memory except than it regularly asks for update. Usually it askes for updation in merely 15 days approx. But after every update it occupy more space but useless in advancement. What I feel after every updation that the adverisments are increased only.
2- Every time of booking it will ask your seat preference but never ever give you lower birth. I always asks for lower seat but always it gives me upper, middle etc. Developers must have a look on this.
3- As its payment options are very limited. You can not gone through Airtel payments etc. Please improve its paying option.
4- As previously I told you all that it has some other features also like book your meal etc. But for the booking of meal you have to install other application. Why it is not being attached in the same irctc rail connect app.
4- As it is good for normal ticket byt if you are lokking for a TATKAL ticket, this app is going to disappoint you. And also it asks for OTP for the payments which is already protected by our e-wallets and by cards. In TATKAL bokking otp creates mess and tou never get a TATKAL ticket.
So in my views it is just ok app. Needs more improvement.
