IQoo 3 is a sub-brand of Vivo in China. It carved a name for itself in China by bringing numerous premium flagships with a focus on gaming. The iQoo3is available in India and is priced at Rs. 36, 999 for the base variant I personally find way too steep. But that is expected since it is powered by an equally expensive Snapdragon 865 processor.
The iQoo3 has a simple glass back with the cameras placed on an island along the corner and branding on the bottom. The all-glass construction makes the device slippery, which does not prove to be ideal for a gaming smartphone. Along with the design of the device, iQoo3 also seems pretty heavy and long gaming sessions might not be very comfortable to carry on with. It has issues with overheating and therefore quick battery drain which, again, isn’t very appealing.
On the front, it boasts a 6.44-inch along with refresh rate being only 60Hz. For a phone whose entire premise is based on being extremely powerful and ready for the future, this seems like a missed opportunity on the part of the company with 60Hz refresh rate.
