As this review is subjective to things I find iOS should have learned by now thus it compromises of negative points(which does not means I hate it it means I want it to be improved badly).
Better app continuum to & fro ok I like surfing alot either in safari browser or on social media and I come across videos that are posted on youtube but, when I click them it doesn't opens the youtube app which I guess nearly everyone has on its apple device but instead takes me to webpage of it on either safari or inbuilt app browser with which every one is familiar with apps like facebook(though facebook has an option to switch opening links to safari or any browser(external browser) u prefer on iOS under app setting). Android has this it takes me straight to youtube app for youtube videos etc. I dont know its iOS fault or its google fault for not providing it into the app.This was the 1 example out of numerous eg. I can give you but some app are well integrated and links take straight to those apps instead of web pages, yes, I know now moving back from one app to previous app has been addressed by iOS by changing back button to Back to app .
==icons need overhaul ==(though not a major issue but needs to be mentioned) I love apps icons on iOS but since iOS 7 they are nearly exactly same! common apple where is ur innovation now? give us some refreshment.
cut animations a bit well as all of us know animations are used to enhance the fluidity of UI as shown when moving from one app to another or back to home-screen etc but if u r in a hurry and u unlock ur phone and home-screen icon animation take place(i.e icons populate with an animation) before showing home screen icons u cnt use d device for that moment between the animation ok I give u a hint what I mean take your iphones unlock it and as soon as possible try swiping the screen it wont happen until the animation is finished( use both hands to be fast).
multitasking panel/recent apps needs to get matured ok with ios9 a new recent apps panel was introduced(for those who dont know its the screen which appears when u double press the home button and clear of ur background apps) but people who have used HTC devices will recognize it very well as same recent apps screen was seen on htc sense UI few years back. which htc has improved in sense ui 6-7 with two options either stick with default google one or htc's own were 9 apps tile are shown on single screen which can be used to switch between them, swipe each of them up to remove or on single X button on top right to clear all at once. Apple u r stone-aged in this process comeup with something gud. Needed to be improved badly.
=Facetime not perfect(in terms of connection)= Well I should not bring this thing up since its still the best feature over any other one like skype, hangout in terms of everything even connectivity but still if apple ever heard me they will make this best app a perfect one very soon. ok what is the problem really? well nothing much only sometime I call someone on facetime audio person on the other end recieves notification of it when I have disconnected my end which brings up a facetime screen showing connecting for infinite time until you disconnect it and then u will see a missed call notification of same call performed to you. But for this I would not blame apple atall since I am 99.99% sure its the shitty internet connection provided to us(in india) either on broad band or 3g/4g these days totally unreliable at times( mind it not always)
iCloud storage atleast 10GB for free ok what is icloud go google it, but since last few update of iOS apple introduced a feature of sharing photos from the photos app to any person on ur contact list having iphone over iCloud service and its the best service.(apart from even backing up the photos on ur device privately) but with only 5 gb on hand its too small for now may b meant alot few years back so atleast apple should give 10 gb iCloud storage after all we pay a premium price for your devices.
iTunes no longer restores apps fully from back ups thanks to new feature called app slimming your apps dont get restored fully from an itunes backup now instead all ur backed up apps get downloaded once again on your device using ur wifi/cellular data. weird yep for me to . It has some pros and cons but I really find how diff it would be suppose if I backup my iphone 6s and then want to restore it say on my friends iphone 6s same specs only diff color(since we were exchanging it for sometime) even on same devices apps dont get fully restored.(i know some apps for ipad n iphone are different in coding but in those cases downloading a full app is understood but why on same devices?) apple you need to rectify this since internet in India is not cheap!
better standby time as was in iOS 7 well I can remember the glorious days when I used to 100% charge by iphone 5s(iOS7) at night and wake upto 90-91% battery left only 9-10% discharge during standby which was impressive but after iOS 8 everything changed and on iOS 9 things havnt got better yet, I charge 100% iPhone 6s(iOS9) at night and wake up with 83-87% left why is it so apple since iPhone 6s even houses a big battery than 5s, so its clear its nothing to do with hardware its software issue.needed badly to be fixed
Apple music totally love it but please make the app's UI more modern.
at least a photo-sharing app to airdrop pics on to android using wifi/Bluetooth
