One thing that I have noticed at mouthshut, reading the profiles of many members is the extraordinary popularity of author Ayn Rnd. It would not be an exaggeration to say that she has become a cult figure amongst the intellectuals and the educated youth, who swear by her outlook and philosophy. When I had first read her two classics – The Fountainhead and The Atlas Shrugged, nearly ten years ago, I admit I was also heavily influenced by her philosophy. But a second reading of these books made me distinctly uncomfortable. I hadn’t fully understood the reason of that, until lately after being exposed to a more spiritual foundation of life. I had voiced some of my fears in my review of “Fountainhead” (https://mouthshut.com/readreview/20639-1.html - some of the illusions I had about our world at the time of the writing of that review, have been shattered subsequently)
What I had written in that particular review, might be regarded just as a different viewpoint, a piece of lateral thinking. But a visit to the official website of Ayn Rnd (https://aynrnd.org/) (Insert ''a'' between r & n while typing the name of the website. The letter ''a'' is omitted, as the software of MS doesn't accept the word formed!)It is being would prove that my views and my fears that her books were written to brainwash educated and intelligent people into accepting a cruel, heartless capitalistic nirvana were not unjustified.
On the very first page of this site, there is a editorial - Bush Loses the War, Again - https://aynrnd.org/medialink/columns/rt091802.shtml, which castigates Bush not for trying to attack Iraq, but by failing in his effort to do so!.“The deepest failure of Bush's UN speech is not his attempt to renew the useless weapons inspections. It is the fact that he felt compelled to give that speech at all. It is the fact that he chose to subordinate America's war-making power to the procedures and dictates of the United Nations” And more “Kowtowing to the UN is how America surrendered its victory in the first Gulf War. We must not allow the same policy to prevent us from fighting and winning the Gulf War the second time around”
Now, why is a foundation that is dedicated to spreading the philosophy of “objectivism” interested in war that will benefit no one and will compound the misery of long-suffering Iraqis?
In another article (The Meaning of Welch's Cave-In - https://aynrnd.org/medialink/welchcavein.shtml) , this foundation stands up for the rights of former CEO of General Electric Welch to garner huge post-retirement benefit packages amounting millions of dollars, at a time when greedy American corporations stand accused of using fraudulent accounting practices to cheat shareholders. What about the rights of the workers of Enron who lost all their pension funds, due to the immorality and greed of another such CEO? What about the rights of shareholders who put their trust and faith in such fraudulent companies and lose their hard-earned money? The Ayn Rnd foundation cares ONLY about the right of multi-billionaire elite CEO’s to keep their ill-gotten wealth, not for the rights of ordinary investors and employees.
Further proof about the anti-people elitist hidden agenda of Ayn Rnd is provided, by the attack on all forms of environmentalism (https://environmentalism.aynrnd.org/) - “Environmentalism has become the gravest threat to human survival. Under the guise of advocating clear air and nice treatment to pets, environmentalism aims to retard and then dismantle our industrial/technological society”
Up with Industry—Down with Earth Day(https://aynrnd.org/medialink/pr041801.shtml) – ''Oil is the very lifeblood of modern civilization. As the environmentalists bleed dry the arteries of American commerce we lose the energy to meet our most basic needs. Killing oil development to preserve a desolate, ice-covered wilderness is an assault on human life.''
Perfectly in-sync with Bush’s rejection of the Kyoto treaty on curtailing carbon dioxide emissions, which every country of the world had accepted.
I have absolutely no doubt that Ayn Rnd and her foundation are agents of the New World Order/Illuminati groups seeking enslavement of mankind using such anti-humanity philosophy to further their cause. An interesting website where I found a link to her site is The Illuminati Order (https://oneworldorder.org/) Now, I have no idea weather this site is really the site of the illuminati group or just a site created by some prankster, since no names are mentioned, but it is quite interesting that her organizations and similar organizations which promote the philosophy of Objectivism should find a place on such a web-site. (https://oneworldorder.org/library.html)
This site establishes its identity of this secretive group by stating – “The Illuminati Order was formed 300 years ago by a group of individuals whom shared a common vision for the safety and future of our planet. The leadership of The Illuminati Order has remained within the framework of The Illuminati Council, and their families from generation through generation. The Council is comprised of 13 special families, whose identity shall never be revealed (Not until such time in the future when it is safe). We are a secret society not in the sense of hiding our agenda and our goals, but merely of the identity of the leadership and the means we use to reach our objectives”
Some of the gems that are worth pondering over that I found on this site –
“The mystic along with the lazy is the enemy of all of mankind”
“Furthermore, the rights of the healthy individual are superior to the rights of the disabled. The healthy individual is a functioning member of society, and contributes to the betterment of society, while the disabled, on the other hand, is a burden” https://oneworldorder.org/DisabilityAct.htm
“The sole cause of poverty is the inflation of the human population. When people multiply faster than wealth can be created the end result is poverty. Every time a poor person has a child she has given birth to new poverty, pure and simple. The welfare systems must be eliminated at all costs, pure and simple. Yes, this seems directly opposed to the ideals of individual liberties, however, liberty without responsibility is anarchy and chaos. So, until such time when we have a society worthy of liberty, capable and willing to be responsible for their actions and well being; if responsibility is ignored it will have to be imposed. Liberty is not for animals, not for the savage as such trample it under foot. https://illuminatiorder.org/nwo.htm
Such is the mentality of the people propogating the philosophy of Objectivism. I request all the fans of Ayn Rnd to seriously re-evaluate their belief systems in light of the above material.
