Insomnia located in Nestle Appartment(Opposite Toyota Showroom) Link Road can be described as a beautiful gift but wrapped rather awkwardly. the place looks pretty average on the outside but when you enter its a surprise ambience. although small it has a very cool, relaxed, homely ambience.
The walls are decorated with quotes, sketches, and some childish wall paintings taking you back to my childhood years. what added to the experience is a book on each table, and you can ask for another book as they have a good collection, an idea which I thought was remarkable in case you wanna spend a lil time alone. the place opens at 07.30 in the morning and has a variety of breakfast options.
Chicken Coleslaw Sandwich( fresh veggies, tasty mayo and the sandwich wasn't soggy) Insomnia Hulk Burger( a recommendation by the staff, its truly hulk size very filling, chicken salami perfectly cooked) Basil Pesto Pasta( pesto perfectly made and generous cheese addition) Banana Caramel Waffle complete led our sweet tooth cravings( caramel had the burnt flavour well balanced with banana) the staff is quick and attentive. pricing is very pocket friendly and a must try place if you pass by. would definitely try their breakfast menu on a weekend morning with friends.
