I was reading a couple of reviews on India Times shopping and I am so overwhelmed. They seem to have more complaints than products!
Add this review to their complaint list too!
I was naive and foolish enough to order their pearl worth(less) about Rs. 1500 for my wife. The thought behind the gift saved me from the divorce that was about to follow after my wife started using it. The clasps I guess were too emotional to be separated from their maker since they started falling apart in two days and the makeup on the pearl started coming off too(this I guess may be because of the pearls' tears!)
Trying to return the product is another experience altogether. If life puts you through troubled times to make you strong, India times can make a superman out of you! Guess what, I am still not done returning the stuff( I dont want to insult real pearls by calling their stuff as one)
Apparently the delivering courier company(TNT Courier) does not come and pick up the product from the customers residing outside Mumbai unless a mail goes from India Times. Unfortunately I am still in the waiting stage since I just realised this fact after I spoke to one of their customer care(less) agent. This is the state, after I spoke to them about returning the product one and half months back!
Hats of to these guys who still manage to survive after putting their customers through all this misery. This really requires some secret process of running business
On the bright side I didn't really lose my sleep over this since I only wanted to try the service and thank god they failed the first time itself. Else I would have gone for something more expensive next time.
