I ordered a GFive G20 Mobile Phone on Indiaplaza. And my experience on it is very bad. My order no. is I14051201191. The product was delivered on time, but they have sent an'incomplete' product.
GFive G20 is a'gaming mobile' with pre-loaded 1000 games on its Memory Card(as I suppose it to be on Memory Card; the internal memory of the handset cannot store so many games). The product came with the Memory Card sent as by the seller'Dns Distribution Pvt. Ltd.'(its based in Gurgaon; their contact no. 0124-4086111). Now this Memory Card(2GB) is a piece of junk as it cant be read at all. The Memory Card also does not have the games installed on it. I have tried reading the Memory Card on another mobile handset, but it dint work. I tried reading my old Memory Card on this GFive G20, and the card contents were read properly by the handset. That means the Memory Card slot in GFive G20 is working perfectly ok.
As the Memory Card does not work at all, I raised a ticket on Indiaplaza on 17 May 2012(Ticket No.CNT1705120108) requesting Indiaplaza to send the'complete' product. But to my horror, they responded that I should visit an Authorised Service Centre to resolve the issue. My question to Indiaplaza is: The mobile handset, the memory card slot are working perfectly fine. The only problem is the Memory Card does not work at all. That means if the seller'Dns Distribution' or for me as a customer, Indiaplaza sends the working Memory Card, the problem shall be resolved. When I opened the package, the box was already open, that means someone opened the mobile package box before me. The Memory Card must have been replaced there itself, as I suppose. Any way, look at the response of Indiaplaza here:
"We would like to inform you that the GFIVE G20 comes under the manufacture warranty so we kindly request you to visit the nearest service centre for the same."
I again raised a ticket by replying to it, and the response was same! That I should visit the Service Centre. Their response: "We sincearly apologies for the inconvenience caused to you and also we would like to inform you that the mobile "GFIVE G20" its comes under 1 Year Manufacturer Warranty. which has to uploaded by manufacturer only. Hence we kindly request you to visit Authorized services center."
My question is if the mobile handset is working perfectly, why should I visit the Service Center at all? Indiaplaza has sent an'incomplete' product by sending a Memory Card which does not work. How would the Service Centre rectify a non-working Memory Card? The only resolution as I see is, that a new and a working Memory Card should be supplied by them.
IMPORTANT: As I said earlier, the box-package was already open when I opened the outer plastic bag. So the seller must have replaced the original Memory Card with one which does not work(I assume this). The outer plastic packaging was completely sealed at the time of receiving.
Now may I request Indiaplaza to replace this non-working Memory Card at the earliest?
I am a previously very dissatisfied customer of Indiaplaza. But I dont know why I thought to give them another chance.(My bad luck!) And Indiaplaza failed me again!
Therefore, I recommend NEVER to buy anything from Indiaplaza. Their Customer Service is too bad and they have no intention to satisfy grievances of a genuine customer. I am a regular online buyer and found Flipkart.com to be the best online store with no problems at all. Flipkart delivered on its promises, every time!
