This is a review on Indian team that most of my friends don’t know about or may have misleaded there thought to that of the team’s.
We have a first hand example proving clearly that the team is a team and not only as many of them call it “Group of Talented Individuals” playing for ownself.
It has been repeatedly proved that Indian team is independent of any Sachin or Azhar or Ganguly.Take the recent example where the team on paper looked pale with non of its so called stars (as we call them) present .No shrinath, sachin, kumble. No usual performances by Ganguly or Dravid.But still managed to win the game with 101 runs scoring a high target. Its not at all that if a particular player is not there we wont win. The fate of Indian team is not at all dependent on any individual. Any player that is there in the team has that fire in him to see his team win. But unfortunately we the viewers could not fell it .Its true that the team is weak in some departments of the game but that doesn’t mean that there is no way out of it.
The team is playing for a nation whose people are more or less addicted to the game and can hardily be expected to be enough broad minded to accept some losses to there side.
Similarly if same team wins a game the same people are out there praising the 11.
Its high time now that we Indians should redesign our way of thinking towards a team which includes ordinary players that work wonders for the nation and put all there efforts into the game. It is these ordinary players who are later called stars because of their extraordinary performances. But if that player is not able to deliver the star performance again and again, which hardly can he, then its again the same we Indians who are bold enough to question his presence in the team. And to add to this is the media that is there without any moral, exploiting any situation to its climax to make it a big issue further .In my opinion this is absolutely unhealthy way of thinking, which should be matured.
I ask all; who are we to decide about the future of an individual or the team as a whole as we can see only what is shown or written about. Have we that right?
No! I don’t think so. Because have we done any contribution in any way to bring a particular player in the top 11 in this more that 100crs populated country, can we make any contribution on the field live to stop any game from loosing. Its easy to watch from the stadium and point out a players mistake ,but its equally difficult to be in the middle and perform .
We should be ready to accept the failure too and be with the team in its downfall.
