I work in Cochin Muncipal Corporation Head Office and Indian Coffee House, Kochi is near to my office. Earlier and all I usually went there to have my lunch as Iam single and usually don't bring food from home.
The ambience is good but the service is not as I expected. For the lunch we have to take prior tickets for food and one day after having my regular meals I felt like having a lime juice. I asked a bearer to bring me a lime juice but he said me that he can't as it was not printed on the ticket. I told him that I will pay after washing hands but he denied. He said me that I have to get up wash my hands and order the item that I need then only he can give the item.
Moreover everyday I have to sit there nearly 10 mins and wait for the bearer to come. One day I ordered a parcel for my cousin brother who had came to see me but the bearer haven't given me the thing till date. On that day I remembered him twice and he said he have orders and can only take parcel after delivering all the other orders.
Next I want to tell about their food, I really dont know from where they are getting this much of beetroots. Every food item they make are flourished with this vegetable. Even the sauces they make are just with this beetroots. It tastes so nasty to dip a cutlet into a beetroot sauce.
Along with my dinner earlier I used to have evening tea also. And everytime I had to call the bearer again and ask him to add sugar. Thank god that I couldn't find any beetroot bits in tea.
Really Iam very sad with their service and also with the food items there. The only thing that I liked there was the french toast which I should say is the best item that one could have from there, it is my guarantee : )
This review is 100% genuinee. If you have anemia or any blood related disease then ICH is best place as I have heard that beetroots are good for blood.
